EAST LONDON TRIP

This weekend we played at River Ministries in East London – home of TBN Africa. We left from CFC JHB on Thursday at around 11am and arrived in East London at around 11pm! The drive was awesome – tons of laughs and 2 dead cows! Great fun! The people at River Ministries were TOTALLY AWESOME! Our accommodation was practically the whole top floor of this super fancy hotel that overlooked the ocean! We were SO spoilt! We did sound checks most of the day on Friday before going back to the hotel to get ready before the event. Playing live was the best! What an awesome crowd – so loud we lost timing on one of the songs ‘cause we couldn’t hear over them!! It was broadcast live on TBN Africa to a bunch of countries across our continent. God’s name was glorified live and across the airwaves! P&W was followed by an awesome message by Nicky Cruz, from “The Cross & the Switchblade”.
The trip back was grueling, right through the night to get back in time for church. On Sunday evening we led P&W again back at home, again followed by Nicky Cruz.
The entire weekend was so great! Big ups to everyone in East London – Y’all ROCK!
