What a brilliant weekend we had! From the moment we climbed onto the bus at sunrise on Saturday morning, until we arrived back, award in hand on Monday evening, it was a non-stop blast! If you have not already heard, The Plain Truth took the Crown Gospel Music Award for Best DVD for the second year running. Besides the "winning" part, one of the highlights was playing "Only One God" live at the award ceremony to a huge audience that included our country's president "Jacob Zuma" and international speaker, "Paula White". This made the acceptance speech that much more daunting. Having only a vague idea of what I wanted to say if it so happened that we 'won', it all went out the window as I opened my mouth to speak, sending out a challenge to all present that this is more than just music, but a message of hope through our saviour Jesus that we all need to take to the world.

The music award that we brought home is great, but the real prize that I take away from this weekend is having a brilliant bunch of guys and girls that make up TPT, being a part of such an awesome church filled with amazing people, and knowing that we are living our lives for a beautiful God who truly loves us!
